Where did the time go?

I still can't believe that my baby is going to be 2 tomorrow!!!!  Victoria Ann Marie has brought such joy into our lives and I couldn't imagine a world without her.  She continues to amaze us, make us laugh and impress us every day with her knowledge, love and brilliance.  She is being a great big sister, and I know she will teach Marlee all that she knows.  We love you baby girl!

Pretty Girl

We got some adorable gifts for Marlee from some friends and I had to show them off....  There is an adorable headband with flowers and then an "M" onesie.  I should have paired them together, but that day I didn't....  She looks so cute in them!

Planting Flowers

We have Victoria's birthday party this weekend and I'm hosting a bridal shower next weekend...so I wanted to get some flowers out for the festivities.  Victoria helped me plant some impatients in a couple of pots. She was a great help and SO CUTE!!!  Had to share :)

Almost 2!!!

I have been busy, busy, busy planning a little girls 2nd birthday.  Where has the time gone? How did my baby get to be two already?  I remember when she came to the hospital after Marlee was born, I finally realized that my baby was no longer a baby any more and more of a little girl...

We have decided that Minnie Mouse is the theme.  She is a big fan of the Mickey Mouse Club House.  A friend of ours makes beautiful dresses and she made Victoria and Marlee some Minnie inspired dresses. I can't wait to see them on the girls.

A couple of weeks ago, Ted and my Dad went to Hawaii.  Ted has earned this "Presidential Trip" 3 years in a row.  The first year was to Aruba (and 4 weeks prior to me delivering Victoria), last year was Spain and this year was the Hawaii trip (4 weeks after me delivering Marlee).  He has done so great at work and it's pretty impressive that he has won this trip 3 years in a row, not many can say that.  I am very proud of him!  So, my Dad has been able to be his partner in crime for 2 of these 3 trips.  They had fun in Hawaii and played an amazing golf course on the ocean.  I guess the views were incredible.  While they were gone, we had a girls week.  My Mom (THANK GOD!) came and stayed with me and the girls.  I don't know what I would have done without her!!!  We had a lot of fun and spent some great quality time together.

Marlee is almost 6 weeks old now. I can't believe it...  She is smiling more and more and it's so adorable!  I love that she's starting to be more interactive and that the smiles and coos are coming out.  It's so rewarding when you can get a smirk out of that little girl :)  Victoria is still being a great big sister.  She likes to say "Marlee, so cute!"...but she says it in this high pitched voice that is hilarious.  I need to get it on video!  She is also always concerned about where Marlee is and makes sure that we don't leave her anywhere.  "Mom, carry Marlee!" They are both such precious little angels, we couldn't be happier.

We had some family pictures taken a couple weeks after Marlee was born and just got them back.  I will post them after I get announcements out :) There are a lot of really fun ones.

Take care.

Our Little Easter Bunnies

We had a wonderful Easter Weekend. On Saturday, my Mom and I brought Victoria and Marlee to the Carver Easter Egg Hunt.  Victoria was a little rockstar when it came to hunting eggs.  I had to stop her a few times so that other little kids could get some :)  Then we dyed some Easter Eggs. Victoria did a great job and wasn't too messy :)

On Sunday we had brunch at my parents house. We followed up that with opening Easter Baskets, an Easter Egg Hunt and playing outside.  Victoria helped Grandpa and Daddy wash our truck.  It was sparkling clean!!

We hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend as much as we did.

Love,
