Happy 6th Birthday Victoria!

Happiest birthday wishes to my sweet Victoria. Since the day she was born I have been blessed beyond anything I could have ever imagined. She has the kindest, most gentle soul - she is silly, funny, beautiful, smart, brave and the best little girl a Mom could ask for! Happy 6th Birthday Victoria Ann Marie!

Birthday Party

I just love this picture (from my iPhone) of Victoria "patiently" waiting and counting the minutes till her birthday party. This was 3 hours prior to her party even beginning.

I brought Victoria to the studio to try and take her 6 year pictures.  

It turned into a game for the girls of Victoria modeling and Marlee photographing.  

Victoria much preferred modeling for her sister then for me.

where is spring?

I'm pretty sure spring came and went and now it's fall. One of the few nice (super windy) spring days that we had the girls and the pup enjoyed it for all that it was worth!!! Spring please come back again soon!!!

Why is that I only remember before and after pictures "after" the fact. Ugh!!!! We had our basement painted this weekend and while I still have to redecorate and hang pics, I just love the way it's turned out so far!!! 

It was a really dark brown before and way too dark for the basement. I love the new color!!!

I can't wait to get the upstairs done too. We are also remodeling a few bathrooms and our laundry room. It's going to be chaos for awhile but I can't wait for it all to be done!!!

wedding fun

A couple of weekends ago we packed up the car and took a road trip to Omaha for my cousins wedding. The girls had a blast and loved spending the night in a hotel.
