Daddy's Little Golfing Buddy

Along with looking like her Daddy, Marlee seems to be taking on his interests as well.  Any time she sees her mini guitar, she grabs it and brings it to him to play and just loves to sing a long to all music.  I need to catch a picture of her singing and playing with her Daddy...it's adorable.

Another thing she loves is golf.  Ted has a few clubs in our basement and will practice his putting and chipping whenever he passes them. Sitting along side his clubs are the girls plastic clubs.  Any time she is downstairs, she grabs Ted's club and brings it to him - whether it be dragging it upstairs or down the hall - she has to find him and give him his club. This is his cue that it's time to play :)

Passion for Photgraphy

Over the past few years, I have developed a passion for photography.  These past months have brought me the opportunity to take that passion to the next level. I have been so excited to be a part of so many photo sessions - whether it be weddings, family pictures, maternity photos, babies (oh how I love the babies :) or a proposal - and capturing those memories.

If you would like to follow along on my photography journey - wish me luck and check it out here:

A Princess and A Smurf

Halloween Day both girls were sick with bad colds. Victoria didn't even want to get out of bed to put her costume on.  Then the first Trick or Treater came to our house and once she heard that door bell ring - she was up and ready to go.

This year Victoria wanted to be a Pirate Princess, then a princess, then a cat and then all 3 at once. We bought her a Pirate Princess costume which she wore to our Community Center celebration...but Halloween night she chose a dress-up dress that we already had and was a beautiful Barbie Princess.

Miss Marlee was an adorable little smurf. I just can't get over the cute little tail and the "shoes".

Both girls did great trick or treating and had so much fun.  Marlee quickly caught on to the "Trick or Treat" and they both ran from house to house like ole pros.

Just a Trim

On October 30th - Victoria received her first haircut.  Sure I've trimmed her bangs here and there, but this is the first time anything else has been cut and the first time she's been to a "hair stylist". I made her appointment at Kids Hair in Chanhassen and they were absolutely wonderful.  They have chairs specific to children, they have TVs with their favorite cartoons and the stylists there are patient, kind and super sweet.

Victoria did a great job. She was so polite and quite the little lady. I was so proud of her :)

Trick or Treat - CCC Style

A few days before Halloween the Chaska Community Center hosted a Halloween Celebration for the kids. They always put on such great events and this one was no different. They could dance to to the "Monster Mash", create Halloween crafts, decorate cookies, meet Kung Fu Panda, go through the haunted house... I didn't get many pictures, but the girls had a blast!!!!

Emma Krumbies

In the middle of October we made our annual fall trip to Belle Plaine to Emma Krumbies.  This year we were lucky enough to have the Schierschmidt's join us.  The handsome Ned is about a half a year younger then Victoria and they get along great.

Painting Pumpkin Faces

We have yet to cut and gut pumpkins and make good ole fashioned jack-o-lanterns.
But the girls have fun painting "faces" on them just the same.
