Did I forget to mention we adopted a dog?

Darcy was in a high kill shelter in Kentucky and needed a place to stay before she found her forever home.

So, we took in our foster pup.

Turns out, we were her forever home.  

But, with a new home, comes a new name....

Trunk or Treat

Ted's Dad and his wife Mary were up to visit right before Halloween. We always have so much fun with them and the girls LOVE spending time with them. 

Our church held a Trunk or Treat the weekend before Halloween complete with a hay ride and hot dogs. We went and had a blast :)

Halloween

One of the luxuries of my job is the flexibility I have. My boss is great and really believes family is a priority. 

I was able to take some time off during the day to attend and volunteer at Victoria and Marlee's Halloween parties. Since my Mom is off work for a few months recovering from surgery, she was able to come too. We had a blast!

Halloween night my parents came over. It's tradition and they havent missed a year yet :)

This year the girls really got into it and RAN from house to house. We got to experience new parts of our neighborhood and we are so grateful for all of out festive neighbors and the fun energy they put out there for the kids.

I'm sure next year will be even better :)
