At the beginning of February, Ted traveled for work and left Victoria and I at home by ourselves. We had fun having girl time, but we missed Daddy. I am so thankful that we are able to do this as a team. I don't know how parents raise children on their own...it would be way to hard for me.
On February 8th, we celebrated Ted's 32nd Birthday. We went to Buffalo Lake to see Ted's Grandpa, Wheezer. He's been staying in a Nursing Home for the last couple of weeks and we are working on getting him home, but he is there for now. We then came home and had a steak dinner with my parents. Well, the boys had steak and the girls ate all the sides :)
On February 11th, Victoria had her 9 month checkup. She came in at a whopping 20 lbs 4 oz (82nd percentile) and was 29 inches long (95th percentile).
She is getting better and better at crawling. Starting to crawl more with her legs and not so much with just her arms. She can really move around quickly now, you can't take your eyes off of her for one second. She's also been trying to pull herself up on furniture and does pull herself up on us. If you would walk her around holding her hands, she would do it all day - she loves it :) She's wanting less and less baby food and would rather have more and more adult food. Her favorites are ice cream, toast, crackers and cheese. We are trying to keep her on baby food for a little bit longer, but I have a feeling it's going to be hard. Especially with her 6th tooth coming in. She started teething early and already has a mouthful :)
At the end of this month, Ted is going to see his Dad and Mary in Florida. He is very excited to get down there and play his first round of golf. We know he is going to have a blast and wish we could go with him. But it will be another girls weekend at home - we'll have fun too!!!
Hope all is well with you.
Take care,
The Wirtz's
