Halloween

Happy Halloween to all. We hope you had as much fun as we all did. We had a blast getting Victoria all dressed up. She had a Halloween party at her daycare on Thursday, we dressed her as a pumpkin and on Friday she dressed as Raggedy Ann and did some trick or treating in her Grandma and Grandpa's neighborhood.

We also celebrated Victoria's 6 month birthday on Thursday. I can't believe our little girl is already 6 months old!!!!

We are headed to Sioux Falls this weekend to celebrate Christmas early with my family. Can you believe it's already time for Christmas parties to start!?!? Crazy!!!

Hope everyone has a great week :)

Weekend in New Ulm

This weekend we went back to New Ulm to see family and friends. It was so much fun to see everyone and enjoy the beautiful weather. Saturday, we went to Pat's house and enjoyed the apple orchard. Then we went to see the Weiland's and their newest addition, Emery. Then it was off to the Lindemann's and saw their new house. We ended the wonderful day with dinner at Turner Hall with the Rodenberg's and Lambrechts. Sunday we woke up to a beautiful fall day and enjoyed a nice walk. We went out to the cemetary to see Bettianne and Vi and then headed our of town. On the way home we stopped in Mankato and then Emma Krumbies to check out the pumpkin patch.

Hope everyone enjoyed this weekend as much as we did.

Time Goes Way Too Fast...

Today was the 3 year Anniversary of Ted's Mom, Bettianne's, passing. We reminiced and watched a DVD with pictures of his family through the years. It's so hard not have her here with us. She was an amazing Mom and would of been a wonderful Grandma. We are already bound and determined to make sure Victoria knows who her Grandma was. In her room she already has 4 of her Grandma's Teapots and some great mementos passed on by Grandma Lambrecht.

We are headed to New Ulm this weekend to visit Bettianne and connect with old friends. We, especially Ted, can't wait to walk around the streets of New Ulm again....

Hope all is well with everyone else.

Love, The Wirtz's

Labor Day Weekend

We had a busy and fun-filled Labor Day Weekend. On Friday we went up to Ted's Aunt Bobbie's house and picked up his Grandpa Wheezer along the way. It was so much fun to be able to spend time with them both. We were also able to see Alice May and Loren. It was so great to catch up. On Sunday we came home and relaxed.

Then Monday, Victoria, Grandma and I went to the MN Zoo. Grandma had so much fun showing Victoria all the animals. We bought a family pass so if anyone ever wants to go, let us know :) Then on Monday night we met up with Great Grandpa Ove for dinner. He'll be flying South for the winter soon, so it was fun to see him.

This Saturday we have a wedding and Ted's Dad is coming into town. It will be another busy weekend :)....

Busy, Busy, Busy....

The last two weekends have been plump full with events.

Victoria's Great Aunt Linda, Great Uncle Stan, and Great Grandma Johnson came for a visit. Victoria loved meeting her Great Aunt and Uncle and was so happy to see her Great Grandma again. She's really missed her since she's been gone.

Last weekend we went to a family friends cabin. We have known the O'Shaughnessy's since Nate was 3, Tim was 4 and I was 5. It was so much fun to get our families together and be able to relax up at the cabin.

This weekend we are heading North to Ted's Aunt's cabin. It will be fun to get up there and spend some time with Aunt Bobbie and Grandpa Wheezer.

Saturday, Victoria will be 4 months old, I can't even believe it. Where does the time go?!?! She is starting to roll. She can successfully roll from her tummy to her back, although I think it's by accident. She keeps trying to roll from her back to her tummy :) Victoria loves to be read to and will follow along very intently, that is until she gets bored. We gave Victoria cereal recently and she loves it. She's getting the hang of eating with a spoon rather quickly. Victoria is also beginning to teeth. The poor thing is constantly wanting something in her mouth to soothe her sore gums. I can't believe our baby will have teeth soon!!!
